PATHOS, evolved further during a period of incarceration here.
Mount Taranaki series developed as a response to an architectural space, the beach house.

The built environment as a focus and backdrop to the natural environment.
The everyday image of contentment whilst calm on the outside, seems forever to be challenged and overloaded with sentiment and disruption.
What appears calm on the outside boils in turmoil on the inside.
